ABOUT THE  HOME LIFE CSP

“The Home Life Community Service Program is designed to  inform members of issues that affect the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.” Programs have included topics on heart health, osteoarthritis, Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. We have also learned about end of life Hospice facilities, foster care and adoption and the training of guide dogs.

This past year a presentation was given by a representative from LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Clearwater Branch. This is a national program that promotes physical activity and wellness for cancer survivors.

The Community Service Program members also participated in the annual Daisy Grant Fashion Show Fundraiser. Gift baskets were prepared and raffled off at the luncheon with proceeds going to help fund future grant recipients.

Other activities included collecting toiletries and books for Women In The Military and donations to Clothes To Kids, a non profit organization, that provides new and quality used clothing to low income or families in crisis. The Home Life CSP also continues to collect and donate money to UNICEF.
